the ongoing Shanghai WorldExpo brings together new concepts of global environmental protection and low-carbon, and it is also a useful platform for exchange and practice of low-carbon development. Norway from northern Europe has brought advanced renewable energy technology. Recently, China Recycling Energy Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Norway at the "China Norway environmental protection and Energy Conservation Conference" held in Shanghai to jointly promote the development of China's industrial energy conservation
it is understood that the focus of the cooperation between China Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. and Norway in the field of industrial energy conservation is the all-round cooperation in technology, research and development, projects, funds and other aspects of ferroalloy energy recycling projects. Norway will provide China with advanced application cases and technical support, and comprehensively promote the progress in the field of ferroalloy waste heat power generation in China, which is divided into domestic configuration and imported configuration
Kuguohua, President of China Recycling Energy Co., Ltd., said that there is great potential for the recovery and utilization of waste heat and pressure in China's industrial field, and the development of recycling energy economy has excellent economic benefits and environmental protection value. Domestic cement waste heat power generation has been carried out earlier and on a large scale. However, due to the higher technical threshold of ferroalloy waste heat power generation, it is still in the initial stage in China and needs to be fully promotedaccording to the introduction, ferroalloy is a typical high energy consumption and high emission industry with the tested spring placed on the lower pressure plate or hung between the upper and lower hooks. However, through the recycling energy technology, using the rest of the heat to generate electricity, it can recover about 20% of the total power consumption. Waste heat power generation is a very promising way to save energy and reduce emissions in this industry. Norway has been developing this environmentally friendly energy technology for more than 20 years, which urgently needs the attention of China's relevant export enterprises
Kuguohua said that China Recycling Energy Co., Ltd. has invested in a 120mW waste heat power generation project in Erdos Metallurgical Group, the largest ferroalloy enterprise in China. This project is also the largest single energy-saving project in the ferroalloy industry in the world. After completion, the project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 855000 tons per yearat present, there are more than 2000 ferroalloy smelting furnaces in China, of which about 70% have the conditions to carry out waste heat power generation, while the general waste heat power generation equipment generates electricity for about 7000 hours every year. The cost of its technical transformation can be recovered within three and a half years through power generation, and the design life of the equipment is about 20 years. Therefore, this environmental protection technology not only has obvious energy conservation and emission reduction benefits, but also has considerable economic benefits
according to kuguohua, in the next five years, China will build 300 to 500 sets of ferroalloy waste heat power generation equipment, with great development potential
